A sunroom is somewhat similar to a deck or patio in that it can feel like something of an extension of the garden. You can see and enjoy the greenery and sunshine from within. This is an advantage as you can be more comfortable and don’t have to worry about the weather or insects, but there are some good things about being outside that you miss out on.

One important reason people like to spend time in their gardens is to enjoy the fresh air and the breeze. These are two things that your typical sunrooms block out. A great way to be able to enjoy all the benefits of being outside while still keeping away much of the negative is with sunroom screen windows.

An excellent design of sunroom is one that has windows with screens on them in strategic areas. These windows can be opened like most normal windows and you can enjoy the breeze. The difference here is that more of the windows open and they open in a pattern that allows the maximum air flow when you want it, but less when you don’t.

With your sunroom windows closed you can still sit in the safety and comfort of your home in the midst of a storm of when it is too cold out. Later, as the weather improves you can open up the windows and really get a sense of being in nature with the breeze blowing through, the fresh air and the sounds of your garden: birds singing, bees humming and the wind blowing through the treetops.

Of course you can also opt for a screened porch if you want to always have that outdoor feeling, but a sunroom screen window setup is much more versatile and allows you to put your room to use with greater comfort and frequency.

Different companies offer different styles and types of sunrooms. Some are quite basic and others have a very specific system for their screened sunrooms that are meant to help you get the most out of both experiences; the indoor and outdoor.

With sunroom screen windows you can really turn your sunroom into two different rooms. It can be a sunroom when you want one and also a very nice screened porch when that is what you are looking for.
